During my recent business trip to Gaillac, I had the pleasure of staying at Au Nid De La Madeleine, and it was a delightful experience! The charming old building immediately captivated me, bringing a unique character to my visit that I often seek out as an environmental scientist advocating for the preservation of heritage. The room was comfortable and equipped with everything from a coffee machine for those necessary morning brews to a lovely balcony that offered a serene spot to unwind after a busy day. Marie, our fantastic host, truly made us feel like welcomed guests rather than just visitors; her hospitality is something that resonates with anyone who appreciates a personal touch, especially when traveling together with colleagues. The location was perfect for exploring the local culture, right in the centre of Gaillac, though I will note that parking was a bit tricky-don't hesitate to check out the nearby car park.
